Feadship is in fact a cooperative venture between two shipyards : "Royal Van Lent Shipyard" and" Koninklijke De Vries Scheepsbouw" and maritime engineering company "De Voogt "
 
The Feadship story dates back to 1877, when the Akerboom family acquired a shipyard off the Netherlands coast. The Akerbooms partnered with the Van Lents in 1927, and they all joined forces with the De Vries shipyard in 1949.
 
Feadship builds custom and semicustom yachts from 128 feet to 328 feet, to date. The company’s SL39 and F45 semicustom models provide turnkey solutions, while more seasoned yacht enthusiasts and/or those who want to be more involved with the build process will appreciate the brand’s high-quality custom vessels.
