Upon boarding, you'll find the classic lines, low coach roof, and generous cockpit Catalina Yachts is known for. The side decks are wide and clear with high stainless steel lifelines, pushpit and pulpit. Once in the cockpit, you notice the long, wide seats, great for stretching out. The low coach roof affords good visibility and sight lines from the helm. The full width dodger provides good cover from the elements.
Step through the double companionway doors and below into the spacious saloon. Immediately to starboard is a large common head with new Jabsco toilet. Just aft of the head find one of the two aft cabins with a new custom mattress, ample storage, opening ports, and standing headroom for most. Immediately to port is an aft facing nav station and distribution panel with the second cabin just aft of the nav station, also with a new mattress.
Looking forward into the large airy saloon the galley runs down the starboard side all the way to the forward bulkhead, with loads of storage above and below. This configuration provides for more usable counter space than most layouts. Several opening ports keep it bright and comfortable. The saloon table is large and surrounded by a banquette of freshly covered cushions along the port side and forward bulkhead. There is a centerline couch facing the port side for additional seating at the saloon table. All surfaces, such as counters, headliner, wood trim and cabin sole are all in nice condition, giving the entire boat the feel of one much younger.
Step through the forward bulkhead into the forward stateroom. A large Pullman berth sits atop a bank drawers to port. To starboard is a single seat, a hanging locker, and more storage.
Finally, just forward of the main stateroom is a large head in the V of the ship. A new Nature's Head composting toilet is to port while the sink and storage is to starboard and large shower on the center line.
