Menorquin 120

Old-World Tradition with Sophistication and Technology

For those familiar with Menorquin Yachts, this 2003 Menorquin 120 (40'-11") is rare to the brokerage market. To those unfamiliar, this bristol yacht deserves your attention. Peregrina was built on the Spanish Island of Menorca. Current owners have equipped and maintained her to use for weekending and a home on an extended cruise. Offering luxurious and roomy accommodations, this yacht has the weight and feel of a larger vessel in a 40 foot design.

The Menorquin 120 is powerful with plenty of energy and will also provide you the look and feel of a traditional yacht.  She has a semi-displacement hull, full keel and twin diesel engines providing enough power for a top end of 20 knots, yet give you equally great performance at 6 to 8 knots with great fuel economy for those long trips. Her hull and deck construction is solid fiberglass built to meet or exceed CE standards.

The foredeck features a padded open area for sunbathing and as a casual gathering spot when at anchor. The flybridge has a full bimini to keep you out of the sun on those hot days, so for those yearning for a nice view and plenty of air the flybridge is the place to be. With redundant controls, the captain is offered a choice of piloting from either the wheelhouse or flybridge.

Looking for a luxurious trawler type yacht but don't always want to cruise at 8 knots. You want classic lines with modern construction and equipment, then maybe you just found her. This yacht has semi-displacement hull with a full keel, twin diesel power and rudders to make her an equally great performer at 6 to 8 knots as well as when she is topped out at 20 knots. Her hull and deck construction is of solid fiberglass built to meet or exceed CE standards. This boat has been owned and maintained by knowlegeable owners. She is ready for a new home, well equipped for someone looking for a great long-term yacht with all weather comfort ..... you have found her.

As you board this beautiful yacht the first thing that you will find is a very comfortable fully covered cockpit (extended hardtop version and pullout canvas extension). There are two built in seating and storage units. In addition to the fixed seating there are two folding directors chairs and a folding wood table that can be used for outdoor dining or moved inside and used in the wheelhouse as well.

Upon entering the wheelhouse you will notice the 4 bi-fold teak and glass doors that when opened to their fullest extent will provide the owner with a 7' unobstructed entry and when closed, weather proofed wheelhouse / saloon with old world charm. To the port side is a settee that converts to a berth. Also provided is a large folding table that may be used in the cockpit as well. On the starboard side you will find an extremely well equipped helm station complete with a large seat that will provide you with a grand unobstructed view in all directions. Beneath the helm is is a refrigerator convient to the pilot house and cockpit. In addition to the doors the forward and side windows open to provide abundant ventilation.

Just forward of this is the dinette area with an L-shaped settee and folding table. This table lowers to form a double berth. There is storage below and behind the settee as well as both open and closed shelving to provide more than ample storage in this area.
