The ‘MiTi Navi’ series of semi-production sailing yachts are built in steel and intended to combine European superyacht standards of construction management, equipment and luxury with traditional Turkish craftsmanship.
Conceived and overseen by a multi-national team the Miti NaVi series comprises 26, 34, 42 and 50 metre sailing yachts, all with in-house naval architecture and design, aimed at the premium long-range cruising sailing superyacht market.
Constructed in high grade steel at the renowned Bodrum Oguz Marin shipyard in Bodrum, Turkey, and with unlimited long range blue-water cruising in mind, the 34m Steel sailing yacht "Miti One" is being built to RINA class for compliance with Maltese Commercial Navigation. The emphasis is on high quality reliable systems, and long periods at sea in safety and comfort.
MiTi One features an impressive volume of 198GT and will be able to carry 12 guests in five staterooms with a crew of 4 to 6 persons. Her main saloon will house a lounge area to port with a formal dining area to starboard and a bar as guests enter the interior from the aft deck.
Stylish wooden panelling features throughout, paired with soft furnishings and deep-toned leathers.
A second shaded dining area can be found on the aft deck with an al fresco lounge and swim platform just a few steps away.
In addition to carrying 520 square metres of sail in a ketch configuration, her twin Baudouin 450hp diesel engines give her a cruising speed of nine knots under power with a range in excess of 2,000 nautical miles.

1 - CONSTRUCTION
Hull
The vessel will be in complete Rina certification rules.
Hull and decks will be built in steel, A grade 3701 shipbuilding type according to plans and to the Directives and Requirements.
48 frames to reduce thickness of structures (more volume in accommodation spaces). Suitable girders are to be used to maintain overall longitudinal strength of the vessel.
All tanks are to be integrated into the structure, suitable cofferdams are to be provided and all tanks will be provided of appropriate inspection manhole and will be internally coated with appropriate coating in accordance with their use.
The hull will be designed to have watertight bulkheads located according to Directives and constructed in accordance with the Rina Classification rules.
Particular care to be taken over provision of adequate limber and drainage holes in the internal stiffening.
Deck stowage lockers will be arranged and built into the superstructure where possible, and are to be provided with suitable watertight covers (with locks) and with appropriate drainage arrangements.
Arrangement for examination, for access, and for cleaning and painting will be provided for all compartments in "pockets" in the vessel by means of permanent ladders, doors, manholes etc. Battens and ceiling holds, storerooms and other spaces, and protective casings around pipes will be made readily removable for this purpose.
Superstructure
Superstructure will be built in steel, A grade 3701 shipbuilding type according to plans and to class requirements.
Scantlings and the construction arrangement of the superstructure shall be in accordance with Class directions and Naval Architect indications and will be similar with hull construction.
2 – OUTFITTING
General Outfitting
Wooden chain lockers to be positively self-stowing for an amount of 200 meters 16 mm diameter chain with stud. Chain pipes are to be of AISI 304 stainless steel construction, suitably supported and to have well bell mouths at the lower ends. Pipes are to be positioned to provide even stowage of the chain within the lockers.
Anchor hawse pipe to be welded stainless steel construction with stainless steel half-round in anchor pockets and at deck level. Polished stainless steel anchor plate to be fitted in the shell as per Designer indication. A stainless steel protection plate will be fitted on the hull side, flush with the final paint surface.
Adequate size and amount of the scuppers and waterways will be concerned for the decks. Main deck scuppers to be of ample size, well run, and adequately positioned when the vessel is at normal trim so as to avoid water collecting on decks.
Rudder of hydrofoil section to be constructed of steel according to designer's drawings.
Thermal and Acoustical Insulation
The hull sides, ceiling and the whole of the superstructure will be covered internally with a layer of rock wool.
The ceiling and the forward bulkhead of the engine room will be sound proofed with the application of a number of layers of rock-wool, and perforated plates, and of other sound-proofing materials. All pumps and electrical motors in engine room will be elastic mounted. In all cabins hull side we will use rockwool density 50
Additional lead acoustical sheet installed on steel or bulkhead for sound insulation in sensitive areas : floor of main saloon, bulkheads of engine room, bulkhead between technical areas and guests accommodations (and Master Cabin).
Doors and Windows
All external doors and windows to be weather-tight on decks, made aluminium. They are to have easy to operate closing devices, be close fitting and have aesthetic appearance.
Pantographic door to access to the platform.
Flat toughened glass aluminium windows and portholes shaped as shown on designer's drawing, with thickness and fitting according to class Requirements. All windows and portholes to be hose tested and made weathertight. All portholes will be stainless steel. Saloon Windows and back Windows will be tempered glass and will mounted by glue (sika). Hatches on the deck will be aluminium.
All portholes in hull are openable (18), except at the fore part of the vessel to comply with unlimited navigation rules (4).

3 – MACHINERY
Engine Room, Propulsion and Control
Two Baudouin 11,6 lt 450 Hp . 6W126M . Gear will be suitable ratio 3,5-1, P2 Duty.
Water lubricated shafting system.
Shaft arrangement : shafts made of Stainless Steel AISI 316 duplex and with stern tubes of stainless steel with standard stuffing boxes. Shaft diameter sized as per Engineer calculations, shaft deflection and engine manufacturer's requirements.
Engines feet and brackets bearings on EPOCAST or SHOCKFAST.
A propeller, four fixed blades, moderately skewed back and designed for highest efficiency, aluminium-bronze.
Hidromarin 2000 hydraulic steering system will be installed.
A Hydraulic power unit clutch driven from main engine will be installed by Hidromarin.
Separ fuel filters will be fitted for each engines and gen-sets.
TMC, Rule, Calpeda or Pedrello pumps will be installed to the required system according to system.
Suitable engine room ventilation system will be fitted with fans and dampers.
Tanks, piping and plumbing
All tanks will be integrated into the structure, with manhole. All tanks connected to a central vent line just below main-deck level leading up to the suitable distance from deck level. Tanks will be equipped with a local level indicator.
Each piping system is to be provided with sufficient valves and cocks to permit adequate control of flow and to provide satisfactory isolating for maintenance of equipment, piping components and instrumentation. International standard shore connections are to be provided for the filling of fuel and water, and for the discharge of sewage (lazaret).
Systems are to be designed such that pipe lengths and fittings can be removed with minimum disturbance to other equipment, systems or fittings. Piping is to be so designed to allow for stress due to thermal movement and deflection due to vessel's working and to be adequately protected against mechanical damage. Pipes, valves, cocks, joints, etc. which are to be fitted throughout the vessel are to be in accordance with ISO Standards and good commercial practice subject to compliance with EC directives.

4 – ELECTRICITY
Electrical Systems
The electrical equipment, wiring, fixtures, etc. and the installation shall be in accordance with EC Directives and class requirements. Operation to be easy, self-explanatory and fool proof for electrically unskilled personnel. The electrical system installed shall be to the requirements of the Recreational Craft Directory and shall generally consist of a 380 V and 220 volt AC system and a 24 V DC system.
The generator group will be locked on a proper sound shield, with a system of elastic shock absorbers between gen-set and its under frame.
Service battery bank will be tractional 1500 Amp. Starter battery will be conventional marine type, selected according to engines and gen-set requirement. Sufficient capacity of Victron Battery Charger & Inverter Multi Plus 24/5000W/100 A will be fitted for system of Service Batteries and Start Batteries.
Led lights will be used for ceiling, curtesy and reading lights. All decorative lights and appliques will be owner choice and expenses.
Navigation Lights sizes and types will be suitable with COLREG requirements.
Saloon, Master and guest cabin lighting to be dimmable.
Solar panels and Lithium batteries
Flexible monocrystalline solar panels on hard top and roof top for 4.5 kW.
Lithium batteries 10 kW for 8 hours autonomy without gensets (no A/C) for night and anchorage sessions.
Electronics , Navigation and Entertainment
2 pilot stations :
- main station (bridge) in fore part of the saloon with control, manoeuvring, navigation, radio & safety console
- External station (top roof) with navigation, sailing and manoeuvring console
One portable manoeuvring station pluggable at the external station with 15 m of wire.
Navigation equipment will be certified Simrad products.

5 – SAFETY & LIVE SAVING APPLIANCES
Safety and Fire Protection
Fire-fighting :
In engine room there will be automatic Novec Fire Suppression system. There will be Dry powder bottles in all areas, cabins, saloon etc.
According to approved firefighting plan.
Fire hydrants supplied by fire pump (in Engine room), 3 on deck and 1 in Engine room. Outside deck area there will be fire hose. This system will use sea water.
Flooding :
Bilge alarms in all compartments.
Main bilge pump in engine room.
Emergency pump :
Installed outside of Engine room. To be used for Fire fighting or Bilge.
Live saving appliances
Liferafts complying with Solas for Commercial yacht unlimited navigation : 50 % of persons (Pax & crew) per side.
Lifejackets for 11 Pax and 6 crew, as per rules requirements.
Sarsat balise as per rules.
6 – SAILS & RIGGING
Masts
Vessel rigged as a ketch : 1 main mast and 1 mizzen masts.
The masts will be built of Aluminium and manufactured by local mast manufacturer.
Masts let on the deck (fore deck for main mast, roof top for mizzen mast) with dedicated structures to distribute load forces (pilars and/or additional strong frames). Mast feet in polished stainless steel.
Sails and Rigging
As a general guidance, all sail handling gear to be manufactured by Antal and mechanically operated where necessary. Where suitable Antal products are not available, the Naval Architect will indicate alternative suppliers.
Furlers to be manufactured by Bamar and to be fitted on Genoa, mizzen and stay sails.
There will be two Aluminium masts and boom.
Bamar Self tailing electrical sail winches will be fitted.
The standing rigging will be made of 1x19 stainless steel wires.
In general, all mast equipment will be Antal, or custom made by specialized mechanical workshops.
The spars will be painted requested colour, as directed by owner.
Mooring ropes will be Dimka. Sail ropes are to be Gleinstein
7 – EXTERNAL FINISHING
Painting
All interior and exterior finishes are to be painted and protected in keeping with the good yacht standards and practices. Materials used shall be of the most resistant qualities, and should be two component polyurethane for all external finishes. The whole preparation, fairing and paint process will be executed under manufacturer approval. The filler fairing on top sides will be as per international standards for this type of yacht. At the bottom, epoxy primer coating and Anti-fouling paint will be applied.
Teak Deck
Exterior main deck to be planked with best grade rift sawn teak wood of 10 mm finished thickness and 50 - 55 mm overall width of strakes, including the roof of the Salon.
Outside outfitting,
Huge leisure beds on aft & fore decks.
Aft cockpit arranged as external dining room.
All external furniture in painted steel with coffers or lockers for storage. All frames of coffer doors in stainless steel.
8 – ACCOMODATIONS, INTERIOR DESIGN, EQUIPMENTS
Accommodations for 11 guests shared in 5 cabins :

Air Condition and Accommodation Ventilation
The vessel will be air-conditioned throughout with individual air condition system for each cabins (fan coils) will be fitted as Coolmar : 140 000 BTU.
The heating of the vessel is to be performed by the same system as the air conditioning using warm ducted air controlled by the same individual thermostats in the accommodation spaces as for cooling.
There will be a fresh air system on the boat (2 dedicated fan coils – 1 for crew quarter, 1 for guests areas).
Furniture
Accommodations and common areas will be panelled with plywood which has veneer of wood selected by Owner, satin finished. Some areas will have wall covering. Counter tops in bathrooms are Marble. Oak or laminated floors in heads and pilot house.
Bathroom Equipment
Supply of taps and accessories will be:

Cushions for sunbathing and sitting places on deck will be made of high-density foam. Sails and winches should have covers to protect from the sun. Interior sitting places cushions and beds will be made of high-density foam.
All linens (All kind of cushions in the boat, sheets, blankets, pillows, table covers, curtains, etc.), loose furniture, etc will be owner supplied items. For the beds, sun beds all cushions all fabrics are the owner choice and supplied by the owner and will be manufactured by the shipyard.
All beds in the cabins will be manufactured special and will be very luxurious.
9 – ADDITIONAL EQUIPMENTS
Lazaret and leisure equipment, toys
A convenient lazaret at the aft part of the vessel with direct access on the swimming platform.
The lazaret is designed to store kayaks, water sport equipment, toys, etc : will be owner supply.
Swimming platform and passerelle
2 lockers with flush deck hatches on the platform to store gas for tenders, and small leisure equipment (snorkeling, etc).
1 retractable hydraulic swimming ladder. 1 dismantable swimming ladder in carbon.
1 hydraulic telescopic passerelle (aft gangway) with capacity to launch the small tender.
Small Boats
