General Layout

She  looks like a much  larger and  grander yacht than  her 83' would indicate.  The cockpit is high up off the water, the deck  hardware and  passarelle are  massive.  She  is a "little ship" compared to her newer  fiberglass counterparts.  There  is a comfortable lower helm and  a secondary fly-bridge station up top.  The entertaining area up top is large and  comfortable and  features a new Bimini top, and  plenty of seating areas.  With her long range, this is a yacht that is more  than  capable of staying  in good  weather year  round.

The accommodations below provide  two nice staterooms with large heads. The Aft Master  is very private with its own stairway from the salon.  The two crew areas are  in the bow.  If you are  looking for a crewed yacht,  this yacht offers a better  space than  most  yachts built today.   The Main deck  features a large salon aft, and  the galley / dining is amidships.  Forward  of the Galley and  dining area is the lower helm area that houses most  of the yachts systems and  navigation equipment.  This is the primary driving station.

The Electronics have  been recently upgraded and  the mechanical MAN engines have  been outfitted with digital sensors so they can  be properly monitored from the Garmin Screens.

Recent UpgradesInclude:

3 new 48,000 BTU Air-conditioning Chillers

New exterior brightwork refinishing

Extensive superstructure paint touch  up and  interior cabinetry upgrades including new ceiling headliners. New Bimini Top

This is a perfect live-aboard or charter yacht that can  cruise the world.

Cockpit and Salon

When  you come  up the transom steps you find a large deck  with seating and  table. There  is a large overhang so you are  well protected from the elements.  The aft salon doors open  to the cockpit providing you a great indoor/outdoor living space. Once  you enter  the salon you have  cabinetry and  bar equipment, perfect for entertaining.  A little further into the room, there  are  two large opposing settees and a large TV on a lift to port. There  are  lots of large windows to let light in and window shades for privacy.

Dining and Galley

Just  forward of the salon is a dining area to port with a large table and  setting for 6.  This is an elegant space with updated fabrics on the settee and  wall accent panels.  There  is lots of light coming in from the window on the port side  of the deck  house.  The Dining area has ample storage for place settings and  serving pieces and  additional storage for dry goods and  bottles. Blue Symphonie comes with extensive glassware and  linens to accommodate guests, and  is perfect for Chartering.

The Galley is on the Starboard side  of the yacht.   It has all the appliances, counter space, and  equipment the cook on board  would want.   There  are  large windows looking out the starboard side  of the yacht providing lots of natural light.  A new, large, stand up refrigerator  was just installed and  a solid Cherry  door was crafted to match  the rest  of the interior.  The countertop also has a built in end  grain cutting board  area, perfect for prepping food.

The lower helm provides good  visibility and  is the main station to operate the vessel.  There  are  two comfortable helm chairs and  two new Garmin Displays.  The engines have  had  Analog to Digital sensors installed to allow the display of Engine Data  on the Garmin Screens.  The Yacht's Main systems are  all here.  Immediately behind the Captain's helm chair is the main electrical panel that allows monitoring and  selection of all the Yacht's systems.

Aft Master

In the Starboard Aft corner  of the salon there  is a curved  staircase that takes you to the Master  Stateroom and Engine Room.   This stateroom is very large and  is isolated from the guests and  crew forward.  The King-sized bed running fore and  aft, has great  access from either side.   To Port, there  are  three  large opening port lights.   Forward of the bed,  there  are  two large full height closets and  a safe.  On the Starboard side  you find the head with a whirlpool tub, separate shower stall, Bidet, Toilet, and  sink area with two sinks  and  lots of counter space.  At the foot of the bed  is a nice seating area with two chairs and  table, providing you a place to sit when  you are  done  being social.

This Aft Full Beam  Master  is much  larger than  what you will find in many  larger, newer  yachts, and  offers privacy only an Aft Master  can  provide.

The heads are  much  larger than  you typically find on many  yachts, and are  equipped with Stall showers, large sink areas, and  granite floors.  Each  room has a full-size hanging locker that provides storage space for extended cruising.

There  are  two opening ports in the aft crew area and  the forward crew bunk has opening ports as well.  The crew area is self sufficient with its own stall shower.

Just  aft of this space is a laundry room that has a full-size washer and  dryer, and  storage for all the yachts cleaning supplies.  This can  be accessed from the main hallway so you do not have  to enter  the crew area to use the

washer and  dryer

Engine Room

The two - 10 cylinder MAN engines are  808HP  each and  are  running low RPM at 9 knots.   They were  overhauled at

4502  hours and  now have  8400+  hours on them.   The floor of the engine room is elevated giving you great  access to the components that need service.  There  is a large power  takeoff on each engine driving a hydraulic pump  to power  the stabilizers, Windlasses, and  Davit.

The old generators were  removed and  larger 27 KW 3 Phase 1500  RPM Cummins Onan  generators were installed.  This yacht is set up to live away  from the dock for extended periods; making  it the perfect long range voyaging yacht!

Tool chest and  storage lockers are  built in above the engines.  The Yacht has four fuel tanks  that feed a day tank and  there  are  transfer pumps and  diesel filters to properly clean  the fuel.

When  you enter  this engine room, you immediately sense this is a "little ship."  Everything is overbuilt and  has been engineered for longevity.
